Full-time job: Auditioning for Part-time work!!

So, I loved being a part of the ensemble cast for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at the Walnut Theater here in Philadelphia! But, like most good things, it came to an end and I'm back at my full-time job - auditioning for part-time work!

I'm still pretty new at this but I know a lot of you have much more experience at it so, give me some guidance . . . from your experience, how many auditions did it take for you to land a "good" role? Where are the best places to jump in? NYC? LA? Stage? Cruises? ANY of these?

Your experience is valuable to me - PLEASE help a brother out!!
