NEW YORK CITY

Well, I did it. I made "the BIG MOVE." I'm finally living in the "BIG Apple," the "City That Never Sleeps." ... Now what? That seems to be the question that everyone is asking. What do i do now? Well, for starters I work. I work in a Night Club...bathroom. That's right, I'm a bathroom attendant. When I took this job i didn't really realize that I would have so many crazy things happen to me as often as they do. BUT those are stories for another time. The point is: I have a job. Apparently, 10 years ago that statement wouldn't mean as much as it does now. With national un-employment rates as high as ever, I am lucky- I am GRATEFUL to have a steady source of income (that I earned on my own). Other than work, I've gotten to do/see some pretty great things so far. Shows: I saw South Pacific at the Lincoln Center Theater. It was GREAT! I had never seen it before and now that i think about it, it was the first Broadway show that I've seen in years. SERIOUSLY?!?! A MUSICAL THEATER MAJOR in college and its been years?? Oh well. I'll make up for it now. No excuses. Must. See. More. Theater. ALSO, I saw HAIR at the Al Hirshfeld Theater. It was INCREDIBLE! Although, I'm pretty sure that Burger (Will Swenson) has been secretly watching me because his opening bit was almost identical to what happened to me that summer I was on Prednisone... Let just say... no let's not. Anyway..... You know, I started writing this entry with a pretty good idea about what i wanted to say, what i NEEDED to say.... but.... yup. It's gone. Oh well. I'll see what i can do about that. In the meantime, everyone have a great weekend and give me a buzz if you're in the city!
